Open Mic on Thursday Nites, contact BigDaddy w/ interest (Mt Sinai) Reply to: karlreamer@aol.com Karl "BigDaddy" Reamer is resurrecting his Thirsty Thursday Open Mic Night every Third Thursday Night at a nice venue in Mt Sinai 9pm-Midnite. This will be geared to soloists and duets. Originals or Covers. Each night there will be a featured performer. There will be time slots for about 10 performances lasting 15 minutes each. There will be one 30 minute time slot for the featured act at around 10pm. 6 of the spots will be taken by email reservation to KarlReamer@aol.com, 1 of the 6 being the featured act, the other 4 spots will be left open for walk-ins. I will provide the PA System and 2 microphones and a 6-string celebrity ovation for those of you who do not have a guitar. This open mic will not be limited to solos or duets if your band wants to take a time slot the only requirement is for you to bring your own equipment, if you are a band and you reserve your time in advance you will get a 30 minute time slot. If there is enough interest we will make it a weekly event. It's all about the music, man! (Really) ;) Email BigDaddy with your interest, you will get exposure on the www.bigdaddyonline.com website

Hey Nanc, you are so welcome, way back in the day ed travers gave me the chance to get started in this groovy music biz in the loft at the brickhouse and i vowed from that day to always give back and it makes me happy to do so. I love that you are comfy cozy at the sizzlin open mic and jam and that you can network with other musicians, its all about the music (WO)man, really ;) always has been always will be. as far as the changes to the site, you encouraged me to learn more about front page and a little at a time i am learning more, here's one for ya, how do i get ride of that nasty spam a few messages above ours? Karl, I've never used the guest book feature, but I know you can tell front page to go get a website. Using that feature, I would think you can download the current version of this page with all the posts, delete what you don't want & republish it. I'd make a bogus guest book page, put up some posts & try it out to test the theory before messing with this page though :) I'll email you some links to front page tutorials. Nancy

Dear Karl, You have taught me what true friendship is all about. I am so grateful to have you in my life. The guys and I are so lucky to have you as our manager, co-ordinator and friend. You truly are my best friend and you have done so much for us. Thanks for being you. I love you. Rach PS Never give up on your dreams or your passion. Never let anyone or anything stand in your way. Live life out of the box. Thank you for believing in me and allowing me to help with your weight loss. I may have given you the tools to get there, but it was you who did the work. I am so proud of you. Thank you for everything. Thank You for putting up with my temper tantrums and my own insecurities. No matter what....you are always there for me. Thank you for being there for me when I have those yukky dreams late at night, and I call you and you tell me everything is ok; thank you for being there for me when I get lost in the middle of the day and you give me directions and thank you for helping me find the words and chords to the songs that I want to learn "In A Minute." Thank you for reminding me to stop at the gas station for gas, and thank you for telling me I need to eat something soon. thank you for getting me such wonderful gigs, thank you for introducing me to such incredible and loving, honorable musicians, thank you for this Kool web site and the patience you have with my limited knowledge on the computer. Thank you for telling me everything is gonna be OK when I get scared, thank you for putting up with my child like behavior. Thank you for believing in me, in our dreams and loving life everyday, no matter what. You always say that I changed your life, but you changed mine too; my dear friend. I guess that's what true friendship is all about. I love you so very much my dear friend. We are both so lucky to be surrounded by such great people who share the same love and passion. May each day of your life be filled with love, happiness, and music. I love you Big Daddy, Your Best Friend 4-ever....Rachee Rach. OOOOXXXOOXXOOXX PSS & Thanks for all the Candy!

Dear Rachel, Sorry it took so long to answer your post, I wanted to give the reply my undivided attention. I’m speechless, thanks so much for your kind comments, true friendship is very rare and I treasure ours. It is my pleasure to manage and co-ordinate your band, you truly are doing something that no one else is, I mean how many bands have a front person that brings along 18 different costumes to change into? (I’m pretty sure that’s how many I counted when I brought them in Friday night) I love you too Rachel, you are truly one of a kind and I am very lucky to have you in my life. Ah yes dreams and passions I promise I will never give them up, never let anything or anyone stand in the way, and as far as living outside the box, I been doing that a lot more since I’ve met you. ;) I will always believe in you, and I should be thanking you for your help with my weight loss, there are so many things that you suggested to do that made so much sense, and I would have never thought of them on my own. I’d like to also thank you for encouraging me and coming with me on the doctors appointments to get my hearing aides and glasses, both of which I would have still been without if not for you, and also for encouraging me in dealing with family issues that have brought about healing where there was none before, for that I am truly grateful which lets you know some of the reasons why I value our friendship so much. You can count on me to be there when u have those yucky dreams, and for when you need directions, or those lyrics and chords you want to “learn in a minute” and your reminders to keep fueled throughout the day. Believing in you is easy, gimme somtin hard to do ;) I am so glad that we have had such an impact on each others lives to change for the better As far as the gigs, well you make it easy for me to make that happen based on what you have to offer. I am glad that you have hooked into my network of musicians, they are all wonderful people and I love working with each and every one of them. You are very welcome for creating and maintaining your website it is my pleasure. I love you too my best friend….forever…………Karl “BigDaddy” Reamer
