Today I went down to Save A Pet to spend some time with "Skippy" it was to hot to take him for a walk so we played tug o war and I brushed his fur, he is available for adoption, a very playful dog won't you consider adopting him?

BigDaddy is now an official volunteer for Save A Pet, orientation was last Saturday and I walked my first pooch "Reno" around the neighborhood of Port Jeff :-)
BigDaddy adopts Kobie from Save A Pet :)
Well Tank was soooo happy when we went to pick up Kobie,
here are some pics from the wonderful day. You may not recognize Kobie cause he got a hair-cut before I picked him up.

Belle is a wonderful sweet girl. She has had a rather rough start in life
though. If you did not notice in the photos Belle had to have a leg removed. We
are not sure why anyone would ever allow a dog to live in such pain but Belle
holds no grudges. She is affectionate and playful. She just adores all people.
Belle favorite past time is kissing. Come on down and let her show you what true
companionship is!

Charlotte came to us from a high kill shelter in the city where she was picked up as a stray. She has beautiful brindle markings and lots of energy. Someone tried to crop her ear by tying a rubberband around it and poor Charlotte got a horrid infection. Now her poor little ear is missing the tip. Charlotte would do well with an active family and a fenced yard. Obedience classes would help her develop her manners. Come down and meet Charlotte!

Sammy.. or is it Scooby Doo?. I am a four-year old male Shepherd/Great
Dane mix who came to the Save-A-Pet as a stray on January 29th. I am a
big boy you might say I'm a gentle giant. I'm a real sweetheart who is
just looking for some love. I may be sort of clumsy around children that
are much smaller than me. Since coming to the shelter, I've been
searching for a special person to take me home. I'm looking forward to
having a new family to call my own. I get so excited when people come to
see me, they tell me that the right family will come in really soon…I

Bambi was rescued from a high kill shelter in NYC. She is a sweet girl looking for a second chance in life. Bambi enjoys walking and is enjoying her new suburban landscape. She continues to be astonished at the kindness of our volunteers. Bambi gets along great with other dogs and is a perfect little lady. She is about 5 years old. Won't you come and show her that most people are wonderful? She truly is deserving of a great home. She lived at the shelter in NYC for many months as volunteers kept dodging her fate and moved her around the shelter. Now she is at Save-A-Pet safe, but it is still not the home she deserves for a lifetime.
